One of my favourite books about Dutch poster-history, "Een teken aan de wand", features a particularly poetic poster which says:
EEN GROOT DRESSOIR MET EEN FOTO VAN MIJN ZOON EROP.
It appeared throughout Amsterdam in the 80's and was created by an anonymous artist who went by the name of "de Wilde Plakker".
My contribution is a tribute both to the energy of "de Wilde Plakker" and his contemporaries, and to my own two sons Midas en Silvester (hence the added 'S' to son).
